What better way to make our feature comeback in 2016 than starting with a car like Lee Zheng’s Nismo 370Z!? We’ve been quietly following Lee’s build for some time and it was well worth the wait. This is easily one of the best Z builds coming out of New England, and knowing Lee, it’s not the end of this fairlady’s journey. Photos: Collin Stankard / Words: Matthew Gaumont

The Fairlady Z family started back in 1969 with the introduction of the 240Z. 4.5 decades later, the Z legacy is still going strong. We’ve known Tiler way back when he was in the supercharged Maxima game, so it didn’t come as a surprise when he upgraded in the VQ family, to the 370Z. Knowing Tiler to be a gearhead perfectionist, we knew his Z wouldn’t be a slouch. Armed with a GTM Twin Turbo kit, carbon aero pieces, and Forgestar wheels, Tilers Z isn’t just a Fairlady, its the Firstlady.

Hot on the heels of the RedSox World Series victory, it’s only right that BeastCoast feature another one of BeanTown’s champs. In a city as dirty as Boston, it’s cleanest cars are some of it’s best kept secrets. Sean’s G37 is no exception. This bagged and fitted neck breaker is worthy of the title ‘Boston’s Finest’.

It’s not every day you see an S15 Silvia, In fact, most people have never seen one. I’d even go as far as to say that the S15 is more rare in the United States than the R34 Skyline. So how did some 18 year old kid get his hands on one? We’ll leave that one a secret. We’ve seen Alex’s Silvia around on the net a few times but first saw it in person when the SNTRL pre game meet cars were terrorizing Times Square at night. We knew we had to shoot this beautiful S15 as we may not get a chance to see or shoot another for years.

After a long winter, every enthusiast anxiously awaits getting their hardpark on. Despite mother-nature’s temper-mental climate swings during the early spring, we were finally given a break. It was time to shake the dust, and the frost off of our builds and get togehther to bring in the good weather. Dubs on Defrost was a great send-off to winter. Plenty of sun, a great location, and rows upon rows of cars.

Canibeat is damn near a household name nowadays. They’re a juggernaut in the stance and fitment scene and for good reason; Quality Content. As soon as the homies at CIB announced First Class Fitment 2012, we marked our calendars and got increasingly hyped about the event! On the way down, I got a text from a buddy who got there before us that simply said, “Holy Crap”. We arrived at Princeton Airport to see small planes taking off and landing among a gathering of some of the East Coasts finest vehicles.

The G37 is one of those cars that’s just plain sexy right out of the factory. However, it’s also one of those cars that if modded too much, is consequently ruined. Elias did a great job realizing that when deciding what to do with his new daily. The result, is an uber clean, classy, and functional G37 that hypnotizes those who stare too long.

Our mission is in our name. BeastCoast aims to put the spotlight on everything dope that resides on the eastern seaboard. From Maine to Florida, our goal is to show that the eastcoast is right up to par with the west. WekFest East was our chance to show the rest of the US that we go just as hard, if not harder, than any other area in the country…
