Evan is one of those guys who lets his car do the talking. He’s super quiet but always seems deep in thought. Maybe on dinner, maybe on work, maybe on what wheels he wants next. Whatever it is, his mind has certainly led him in the right direction with his R. This car is one of those crowd pleaser types. You can bring it to a meet and get love from enthusiasts, or park it in the city and get looks and admiration from all. The blue and gold combo is one that isn’t supposed to work but does, and damn well! It took two shoots to compile the following set but thanks to Evans patience, Eric Banash and I got it done! Check Evan out on IG at @dutchmastr9.

Johnny is a “go with the flow” kind of guy and his car shows it. The Rustolla has received a lot of negative criticism throughout its existence, but theres something about seeing this car in person that changes the naysayers perception. It’s one of those cars that makes you smile. Odd stickers and funny touches provide something amusing and unique in every nook of the car. From the “custom” pano roof, to the 1st gen RX7 Recaro seats, Johnny has a fun creativity that can only be achieved in a car that has seen this much battle.

Theres something about watching two professionals surgically maneuver gripless vehicles while being just inches from eachother that many have a profound respect for. This Formula Drift season has been an exciting one. From Chris Forsberg sitting podium at every event, to Fredric Aasbo taking his first 2014 win in Round 4, its been an extremely competitive series this year and it could be anyones championship. Jared Cabral (@nor_east), Ivan Jimenez (@iamijp),and Matt Gaumont (@mgaumont) hit Wall Speedway to capture the most competitive east coast stop of the Formula Drift season.

As you saw in Randy’s 335 feature, its clear that cars on air aren’t just for show. So you thought Rizz’s car was a rarity? Think again. Patrick’s WRX is the nail in the coffin to anyone who thinks bags are just for groceries. This built EJ25 swapped pebble pusher is breaking hearts, and necks on the streets of Maryland. Find me a nicer Accord in Mass. Better yet, find me one NOT on Vossens. Creativity in the Accord game is scarce, so when you see an 8th Gen surfin’ on Weds, it’s grabbing your attention. Aldrich isn’t a showoff by any means but you sure cant tell by his car. Simple, yet aggressive, Aldrich’s Accord is a definite neck breaker and he has even more planned for this already impressive street sweeper.

There’s a bit of segregation in this scene. On one side you have the function guys; the ones who love the raw thrill of driving. On the other hand, you have the show crew who appreciate the aesthetics and customizability of cars. Now, the majority of people feel that a car on air suspension cant perform well on a track. Normally I would agree, up until recently when I saw a bagged STI outperform others on the track. So is there a happy medium? Ask Randy. The BMW 335 is no slouch out of the box but Rizz had big plans for his Barbera Red coupe. With a handful of bolt ons, this power happy N54 power plant is pushing more than enough for some spirited driving, all while sitting on Bag Riders air suspension. Best of Both Worlds? You decide.
