Long Overdue

Good things come to those who wait…or in our case…good things come to those who slack. I’ve been wanting to shoot Mina’s car for two years. Every time I’d see him It would be “Bro lets shoot soon!”, and it would never happen. But in 2015, we finally got it done, and it was well worth the wait. Mina’s CC is at its peak and we were there to catch the “ICE” in all its glory.

Hate It or Love It

Johnny is a “go with the flow” kind of guy and his car shows it. The Rustolla has received a lot of negative criticism throughout its existence, but theres something about seeing this car in person that changes the naysayers perception. It’s one of those cars that makes you smile.  Odd stickers and funny touches provide something amusing and unique in every nook of the car. From the “custom” pano roof, to the 1st gen RX7 Recaro seats, Johnny has a fun creativity that can only be achieved in a car that has seen this much battle.

Well Rounded

As you saw in Randy’s 335 feature, its clear that cars on air aren’t just for show. So you thought Rizz’s car was a rarity? Think again. Patrick’s WRX is the nail in the coffin to anyone who thinks bags are just for groceries. This built EJ25 swapped pebble pusher is breaking hearts, and necks on the streets of Maryland. Silver Surfer

Find me a nicer Accord in Mass. Better yet, find me one NOT on Vossens. Creativity in the Accord game is scarce, so when you see an 8th Gen surfin’ on Weds, it’s grabbing your attention. Aldrich isn’t a showoff by any means but you sure cant tell by his car. Simple, yet aggressive, Aldrich’s Accord is a definite neck breaker and he has even more planned for this already impressive street sweeper.

The Best of Both Worlds

There’s a bit of segregation in this scene. On one side you have the function guys; the ones who love the raw thrill of driving. On the other hand, you have the show crew who appreciate the aesthetics and customizability of cars. Now, the majority of people feel that a car on air suspension cant perform well on a track. Normally I would agree, up until recently when I saw a bagged STI outperform others on the track. So is there a happy medium? Ask Randy. The BMW 335 is no slouch out of the box but Rizz had big plans for his Barbera Red coupe. With a handful of bolt ons, this power happy N54 power plant is pushing more than enough for some spirited driving, all while sitting on Bag Riders air suspension. Best of Both Worlds? You decide.

Blew By You

Whether it be GTR’s to Brian O’Conner or Eleanor to Memphis Raines, we all have our one specific car that hits us right in our soft spot. Having been inspired early on in 2004 when a BR330 Evo first crossed his path, Branden instantly knew the Blue By You Evo VIII was his unicorn.. and the hunt was on.

All The Right Moves

Sams cover
BRZ’s are still fairly new to the scene and modifying a brand new model is not always easy. Tell that to Sam Vazquez. Right out of the box Sam has done a damn good job taking a car with still fairly little aftermarket support, to the next level. Although it’s still in its early build stages, Sam’s car is a defininte head turner with a few classy and tasteful modifications. Check out Sam’s Instagram for updates on his BRZ. @modifiedtheory_sv
